Will Criner was an
excellent checker player and always played the Virginia State
Open held in Danville in mid-September. It was later moved to
Bedford. I recall Will was usually at the top, and we missed him
in Bedford. The checker playing community will miss his
tournament play and especially his friendship. We send our
deepest sympathy to his family. God Bless. |
